We live in an area that has been overrun by darkness on every level. It's a Mormon stronghold, although witchcraft has been very heavy. Someone told me that our church site was originally held by Wiccans. We have an awesome team of Christians who are moving forward to develop a plan of action.  Hubby Earl and I are spearheading much of this, as well as teaching a teen class, a women's Bible study on Pilgrim's Progress, and readying to teach a study (open to the community) on spiritual warfare. The past couple months have been seriously rough for Earl and me. We have thin finances (since he lost his job due to a clot situation). And we live off-grid. Our system failed, so we've been limping along with electric and water issues for about six weeks now. We are getting the system fixed (major expense as the batteries failed). We've had car issues and health issues. Well, last night at a key meeting for our church, I took a bad tumble. I thankfully didn't break anything, but we may need to go get me some crutches. One of the biggest prayer needs I have is not to descend into self-pity. Or some kind of persecution-complex. At times, I do feel overwhelmed by it all. The next, on our behalf, is for protection from the evil realm as we move forward. And third, for healing for both my husband and me. Greater health would be good, as we are about an hour from medical care, and I don't have health insurance. (Hubby has limited with VA.) Thank you.

Update... My foot hurts a little, but God has been so HUGELY good to me. This was a bad tumble, but God really did protect me. We have our electricity and water back on at full power. We'll be working on the finances as the days proceed. We still would appreciate prayer for God's protection. Also, our church teens are almost all out of control. We are doing what we can, but mostly all we can do is pray and enlist prayer on their behalf. Thank you.

I should have add that I meant the teens in the church. We used to have about eight kids rotating in every week and maybe more at our teen movie day. Today we were down to one, and he had to leave after ten minutes--his father requiring that he come home. All stopped coming to the movie day. A number of these kids have professed to know Jesus, but now we have good reason to believe they are wholly off the rails. Our church which used to have about 30 people had 14 today--no kids.  We really could use prayer! I'm hearing that my women's Bible study will likely only have two or three of us this week, whereas we've had about eight women. It is difficult not to feel discouraged.

The teens are back, which is a huge answer to prayer.  We appreciate all the prayer we have received. Now, we would appreciate prayer that we can make a difference in their lives. The needs are so beyond huge. Again, thank you for the prayer support.
